Before-and-after photographs are common in aesthetic medicine. Dr Barker has chosen not to publish his patients’ images as marketing. He believes that every treatment is personal—and that a patient’s face or body should not become advertising material.
A photograph may be interesting, but it only shows what happened for one person at one particular moment. It cannot show the consultation, the decisions behind the treatment or whether the same approach would be right for you.

No two patients are the same
Every face, skin type and reason for considering treatment is different. What looks right for one person may not be suitable for another.

One photograph is not a promise
A selected image can show one person’s result, but it cannot predict how your features, skin or body will respond.

A picture never tells the whole story
It cannot show the assessment, treatment choices, timing, movement, healing or longer-term result behind a single moment.

Your consultation is the comparison that matters
Dr Barker would rather assess you personally, listen to what concerns you and explain honestly what may—and may not—be achieved.
Your result should belong to you. The aim is not to reproduce somebody else’s treatment, but to find the approach that is appropriate for your face, your concerns and your life.
